$100,000 in student loan debt

Posted by admin on Aug 17, 2009 in Student Stories

After 3 years of attending, I owe what seems to be getting closer and closer to $100,000 in student loan debt for a useless degree for a career field that doesn’t pay half in a year than the cost of that ‘education.’ – Westwood College Student from Washington State

Terrible teaching practices and standards

Posted by admin on Aug 16, 2009 in Student Stories

In these two terms, I managed to develop an opinion of terrible teaching practices and standards, and flat out lying about financial affairs at least in regards to my own. … I’m being charged for Apex loans I never agreed to, and I was heavily harassed by bill collectors….I was encouraged on at least one occasion to forge my own attendance on a day that I had to miss most of as well.

Lied to by Westwood agent

Posted by admin on Aug 13, 2009 in Student Stories

I was ripped off by westwood college. I wasted many years on a fake education and non-transferrable credits that isn’t worth anything in the real world. I was lied to by an Westwood agent when I first met and they told me that all my credits are transferrable…at the end none of them were….

I was never helped getting a job when I asked which was part of the deal. Their accreditation & quality of education is worthless. Please help.
