Westwood College Online featured on SNL?

Hope you all had a great weekend. We thought we’d share this new skit with you from Saturday Night Live, since it might just seem familiar to you guys! The logo is based off of the University of Phoenix, and we think the name and colors are a pretty thinly-veiled reference to Westwood College. Westwood…Westfield…you decide!
We know this isn’t a laughing matter for many of you, but we hope you can find some humor in an otherwise dark situation. It’s also a great sign that the deceptive practices of schools like Westwood are getting national attention. That means all of your efforts in telling your stories are working, so keep going!

This is totally about Westwood – I saw a Westwood commercial just like that with a mother holding her kid in her kitchen talking about going back to school to get a degree! Too bad its so true.
All satire begins with the truth, and it’s obvious what the inspiration was here. SNL’s skit points out how much of a joke Westwood is considered. Here’s hoping we’ll be able to get the last laugh.
This is sad and funny at the same time.
On related note, apparently westwood college recruits teachers through craigslist.

Not all that surprising that they’re using craigslist… Go on Twitter and search “Westwood College” and probably 75% of the tweets are job postings for Westwood!

One job listing looks like they need a social media team leader or something. Probably trying to combat all of the bad press.
Now that was so dang funny and really sad because this crap………………. happened to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate Westwood College!!!!!!!!!!!! At least I am not alone in this situation.
