I feel your pain, after the 62,000.00 that they embezzled from Sallie mae in my name and the 20000.00 in the apex loan they made me drop out or sign a new loan for 40000.00 to finish my 10 gen ed classes I had left. For a little more I could of gone to a REAL college and got a real education from an accredited school. And the instructors, ha, NONE of them had a masters which is required to teach students going for their Bachelors degree’s. How can they do that?!

Wow. I just found this and I’m completely shocked. I went to the Westwood campus in Anaheim, and my 6,000 dollar tuition has more than quadrupled in a year. The interest is like 15/16% and I’m stuck as a “junior” with nothing really under my belt to show for the 2 years I was enrolled. They informed me that the 24,000 dollars had to be repayed before I can finish. Only I can’t get a job that would pay just the interest on this loan. It’s almost ready to hit default and that means I won’t be able to get any job that runs a “credit check”. So now I’m stuck in a catch 22 because I listened to the “awesome” pitch by the counselor. Although the Art Institute of California isn’t any better. The orientation by the “director” of your field tells you up front that you will only get D’s and F’s there are no A’s, B’s, or C’s. They want you to fail so they can collect more money for classes that will have to be retaken. That was 25,000 for 1 semester.
